Lou Anna Kimsey Simon, the President of Michigan State University, and Doug Rothwell discuss how the union of the three schools’ collective research skills, collective technology transfer, and growing visibility is working to promote job creation and economic vitality for the whole of Michigan. In fact, it’s estimated that in 2006 the URC generated nearly 69,000 new jobs and $12.8 billion in economic impact.
