Detroit Renaissance is a private, non-profit executive leadership organization dedicated to accelerating the region’s economic growth. Celebrating its' 40th year in 2009, the organization is composed exclusively of the chief executive officers of the region’s most significant employers and largest universities and its operating budget is funded entirely through contributions from its members.

We represent the vision and viewpoints of the region's top executive leaders and accomplish our work by forging partnerships with government and community stakeholders that address initiatives with significant economic impact.

• Detroit Renaissance's member organizations generate over $800 Billion in annual revenue, provide nearly 300,000 jobs and serve over 130,000 students in Michigan.
• Over the past four years, Detroit Renaissance has grown by over 50% and increased the regional representation of its’ board membership.
• There are fewer than 50 executive leadership organizations like Detroit Renaissance in the nation and only eight in the Great Lakes region.
